I thought ep 9 was the weakest of the season so far, the Peek Ref 12 arc just doesn’t quite land for me and the actual end of the episode is a bit confusing.

It’s crushing how low a view count this series has though, I caught ep 7 again this evening and it’s so strawberry floating good. One of the best things I’ve seen on YouTube all year and it will get crushed in views by whatever easy reactions they churn out next week for the Game Awards in a matter of hours. Can’t wait to see the conclusion this weekend and then whatever Bosman has up his sleeve next. I wish there was a way to just fund his personal creative output.

It was very Bosman I think is my first thought about it. In terms of production it’s probably the best episode but the series peaked with ep 7 for me. I can see why Bosman wrote that ending the way he did, there seems to be more than a little reference to The Final Bosman in there. Will be interesting to watch the Q&A.

I liked the Q&A. Though I left before the fan art and the rewatch of each episode, due to getting the kids to sleep.

I liked it, the stuff they say in the Q&A really does make sense in a lot of ways and is very true to life when it comes to kids.

Some of the fan art is so good. The dynamic between Kyle and Amanda is funny, they both bring something so different to the show and it’s clear when Kyle goes a bit dark Amanda just thinks it’s sweet  like a mum who doesn’t take their moody kid seriously.

I thought Chalky was banned for like a year, but never came back?

I’m very sensitive to decades. Apparently.

The extent to which they go round in circles because they're so desperate to say all games are equally worthy, is hilarious and insufferable. It was obvious Iceborne was going to be the co-op pick about 20 minutes before they finally settled on it.

Control so clearly has the best world design here. It staggers me anyone could think otherwise. If they give this to Luigis Mansion I will die.

Edit: Kyle throwing outrageous shade at Ian

And now it's world war 3

Isn't that the point of a discussion and debate? Otherwise this would like like a few hours lol.

Oh for sure, just sometimes they go round in circles for no need and Ben in particular can be really bad for just protracting it by trying to pretend there’s a real dilemma.

Have watched it all evening though, up to Best Trailer, real jolly watching. Look forward to diving into the big one tomorrow.

Same, I've been here all day too lol. I think it shows how super passionate they are. I'm mostly here for the ride since I haven't played a lot of games in 2019 so it's fun hearing all these experiences. I could listen to the EZA guys for hours on end so this time of year is always a treat. I will say, the only time during this deliberation I was a bit reserved on was the music category. I wish everyone took it a bit more seriously like Blood and Damiani.

I have a feeling Sekiro will take it which is predictable. I'm more on Ian's side when it comes to the game personally. Just didn't click with me as much as it did for everyone else. I have some controversial takes which I will not share here ">,>

Well that was strawberry floating brilliant. As always I would have loved to have heard more from Bosman but he's clearly not as invested in it.

As they were going through their picks for GOTY and the first 6 of them bar Huber had different picks I was rubbing my hands together looking forward to the debate. For me as well having played 6 of them it does come down to Sekiro and Resi 2 as well. Jones pick for Control came out of nowhere and I'm so pleased it got some time in the sun, even if he did ignore one of its big flaws and then criticize Sekiro for the same thing when the back tracking to bosses is nowhere near as egregious in that as it is in Control.

Ian can be so dismissive at times it was funny to watch all his picks fall by the way side and then the one FS game he doesn't go insane over make it to the final two. It's nice having someone so clearly with their opinions though, I really don't like the bleating over every decision, this game is so good but then this game is great and this one is cool but that ones awesome too. Normally Huber and Ben are absolutely the worst for this but Blood and Damiani were just insufferable on the final GOTY pick. Just say what you prefer already you clearly have for your own top 10 anyway.

Regardless, I could have watched another 7 hours of that, cracking stuff from them.

When Brad and Huber almost butt heads over Life is Strange 2 and Fallen Order I got a bit concerned for a sec. Then remembered they're bros so there's no way it was serious lol. But I love it when they clash with experiences like that but the team can still be level headed without getting too heated.

Currently started watching the Personal Pics, always jolly seeing these.
