I'm hitting 17FPS even with everything turned off which is a shame because it's excellent! It's a bit like the Arkham games but with a strawberry floating massive gun. I imagine the clunking movement might grate fifteen hours in. Not sure if they have a fast travel system for this, because traversing Gotham is one of the great joys of the Arkham games and this obviously doesn't have that.

The demo is huge as well. Not just in terms of data at like 45GB - I've played for about two hours and it's still letting me do stuff!

Might have to try the demo, nothing to lose and hopefully I'll see something I didn't get from the trailer

Happy to say that after a 30GB update (!!!), the demo is stuttering far far far far less now :wub:

They've managed to curb most to all shader compilation stutters, mercifully. Still the very very occasional traversal stutter but it's bearable, humongous night and day difference!

But aye it's still a very heavy game, seemingly on both GPU and CPU. Glad to see it supporting all the upscaling options (DLSS, XeSS and FSR) and Frame Generation to help ease the load

I hope this is successful and leads to more 80’s film inspired games. My inner 12 year old wants the 2023 game version of Blue Thunder.

Played an hour and a bit of the demo until it froze and it was surprisingly fun. Robocop has some pleasing weight to his movements and melee attacks.

This is looking to be surprisingly decent.

Yeah, a wide range of assessments are now appearing.

I'm thinking that the situation is:

> Great environmental graphics
> A bit clunky in terms of character animation and (some) voicing
> Decent first-person shooting
> A mixture of cool and mundane missions
> Take off a point if you're not a RoboCop fan but add one on if you are

I have seen RoboCop but only once and I barely remember much about it. I'll try and seek it out sometime.
