I take a point off my opinion of a person if this is the case :dread:

True, Dowb... hang on! Dowb... ocop! I'd never really made the connection to this before! .

I have seen RoboCop but only once and I barely remember much about it. I'll try and seek it out sometime.

I too had never made the Dowbocop connection, and now I have the voice of Homer and Robocop combined in my head when I read it.

I’m tempted to get this, but my inner skinflint is saying it’s bound to be reduced in a few weeks, isn’t it? I’m still playing Mario Wonder - which ironically is a similar nostalgia filled violent fantasy of bringing justice to a decayed and corrupted world.

GmanLives enjoyed it.

It does look like stupid fun though. Might pick it up in a few months when I've got time for it.

Happy to eat humble pie on this one, it looks and sounds pretty good! One to pick up when I have more time and it's on sale. I still really want to pick up the Terminator game they did as I heard that was also surprisingly decent!

I will absolutely pick this up on sale if it does not come to Game Pass first. I can see it being heavily discounted within a couple of months which is not great for them, but I am never spending £50 on it.

It's a pure AA title.

I had fun playing as Robocop. It does get samey throughout the game but I'm having fun.

Grab an enemy, chuck them up skywards or out of windows. Or punch them in the face. Even targetting a wall and bounce a bullet or two into enemies. The whole thing screams Robocop. The targeting, the pistol. Its everything a Robocop fan can ask for.

Even issuing a parking ticket. Even quips about justice.

I'm having fun. GOTY material it isn't but it's fun.

Also there is barely any swearing in it, probably NONE. I was really looking forward to the ITV style of dubbing: "Frig you, mothercrusher."

But... nothing.

Anyone still playing this? I've earned about £50 across Prolific and Influence over the past few weeks so I'm tempted to pick this up via CDKeys

It's my favourite FPS in ages, I absolutely love it. Alternating between this and Alan Wake 2.

You'll go from say a bank heist where you're strolling through headshotting everyone- groinshotting anyone wearing a helmet which also gives a OHKO- to an interlude at the police station where you're doing sidequests to get people to sign a Get Well card.

That actually sounds great, I like the idea of just strolling about day to day office work, interacting with people, between shoot outs.

Survey website/app (respectively) in which you get paid small amounts for completing surveys. Prolific is more university funded studies whereas Influence is more commercial/shopping questionnaires. I've been doing them a lot recently and have managed to bank a tidy sum in my PayPal account!

Just got a £5 amazon video voucher, which I promptly spent on the film (the 1987 one, obviously). I have all but committed to buying the game at this point.

I have read very little about how it performs on console mind. I assume everyone here is playing on PC?
