Dara O Briain and Angela Scanlon have been announced as the new presenters of Robot Wars when the series is rebooted for BBC Two, with Jonathan Pearce returning as commentator.

Not a clue who Angela Scanlon is though, even after looking her up on Wikipedia.

She's a presenter in Ireland, she does a travel show and has done her own show where she hangs out with famous people for a bit, I've only seen the one with Sheamus(WWE) and she didn't seem too bad. No idea what her nerd flirting technique is like though.

I doubt they'd allow flying robots, seems too dangerous unless they've added a roof to the enclosed portion of the arena and put the inner walls all the way up rather than just about a foot high.
Was watching some classic Robot Wars yesterday and saw Typhoon 2 not once but twice manage to shatter the bomb proof inner wall from hitting it so hard.

Saw the advert for this, then remembered Dara was presenting it.
I find him really annoying, so that's enough to put me off watching.
