Ie, if there's three of you online, what can you do? All on same team vs NPCs? One + NPC vs two?

Whatever you want. 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4. With any combination of online players, splitcreen players or AI.

You can only do that on Rookie. Any other difficulty and it's impossible.

Won my first online game 6-4 and scored a hat-trick 8-)

So, we're going to be organizing some kind of league or competition, right?

I'm thinking that a knockout tournament would be a good way to start. Best of 3, winner advances to next round. Then that'll give everyone some idea roughly how good everyone is and we can draft four or three person teams fairly(ish) for the next competition.

What does everyone else think? We could always just throw peoples names into a random generator and make teams that way I guess.

I probably won't be able to participate to be honest, due to working evenings etc.

I know you guys mostly play at and after 9 so I probably won't be able to join in as we tend to stop gaming at nine.

I'd love to play some games with you guys, probably too busy to commit to a long term thing though.

Are the controls just basic driving game controls (accelerate, brake/reverse, left & right) with buttons for nitro and jump?

I reckon I could play it if it has a windowed display mode (I can manage fairly well with Trackmania and Flatout 2's destruction derby mode so something where there's no track to follow should be workable - just don't expect me to score much).

Yep plus a button to lock the camera on to the ball which is handy to switch to and from whenever the ball disappears from view.

Basically. It seems that the matchmaking servers fall over at somewhere about 90k concurrent, which tends to happen at EU prime time.

Not played online yet, but this is pure fun.
Making my way through the league. Love it. It's completely written-off my Batman time I had planned for tonight.
