What a tournament, there have been some amazing games, and some bizarre ones. Lots of cards this tournament too!

Obviously I'm happy as a Wales fan, but it's ironic that the game where Wales played their best by a long run was the game they lost. This also being the best game of the tournament from my point of view.

France look incredibly dangerous and I think they could really be the team to beat over the next few years.

Nice to see Scotland pushing forwards too.

Not sure what to say about Ireland, they're a bit in no-mans land at the moment, but always could come out and win a tournament, definitely dangerous, and unfortunate to lose against Wales & France.

England need a re-haul. But then again. They'll always be there as a top global team unfortunately though, they just have so much more money in their domestic leagues and a wider pool of players.

Italy are a bit of a joke now, in the early 2010's they were winning games ever year, now they're not a potential hiccup at all.

My main takeaways from this tournament are:

Wales under Pivac are an exciting prospect but there are still plenty of weaknesses to work on

Scotland are the real deal and definitely in the mix I'm 2022

France are overrated at the moment but have a huge ceiling

England have been found out under Eddie Jones and need to change him

I feel this is a little unfair. Their first 2 or 3 games of the tournament showed some real promise from them, and evidence of real development, both in terms of individually skilled players, and wider game tactics. Sure they're still not translating to wins right now, but there's promise there. Their biggest undoing overall was mentality and morale. As soon as their heads drop, their game falls apart. They're still a relatively young side though, and can pick that up for sure.

OK tournament overall, plenty of closely contested games which is good, seems like the gap in quality of the top five has really closed as well. :D

I suppose the downside for me is that the wrong team won - France played better over the tournament but absolutely buckled under the pressure at the end.

Were you expecting Itoje not to go?!

There are some seriously questionable players in the pack quality wise. And some big omissions. Also, why is Daly going?

I can see him going Murray Biggar Farrell for 9-10-12 which isn't exactly the most exciting thing in the world especially when you're back 3 could be Hogg, Watson and LRZ which sounds sensational.

Oh well, can't fault Gatland as a Lions coach so you have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

The Six Nations is set to stay on free-to-air TV after organisers reached an agreement in principle with the BBC and ITV to continue sharing coverage of the men's and women's tournaments.

The four-year deal will run from 2022 to the end of the 2025 Six Nations.

The BBC will broadcast all of Scotland and Wales' home Six Nations matches, and the entire women's tournament.

ITV will show all of England, Ireland, Italy and France's home matches in the yearly tournament.

I've really lost interest in international rugby over the last year or two, but this is good news.

The best news.

Actually, second best news, the best news would be the whole tournament going BBC exclusive again. strawberry float adverts and ITV's inconsistent punditry/commentary selections.
