That result changes nothing. Still all comes down to one big night in Paris.

What

It changes plenty. Wales can lose to France and still win it.

It doesn't change anything for next weeks game from a Wales point of view in my opinion. It doesn't remove from the excitement of the match, that pesky rescheduled game over Scotland looming over the tournament. If France beat Wales, they'll go onto beat Scotland and win it for sure.

France will need to score 4 tries against either Wales and Scotland to win it as they need 9 points.

If Wales lose by less than 7 points v France then Wales will win it.

Feel for Scotland, they fought so hard to get back into that game, and the first half showed so much promise for them, but another game lost by ill discipline and poor line outs. Excellent game otherwise though, as was the England France game yesterday. It's going to be a real shame if this tournament disappears behind a paywall under new rights management.

Private equity firm CVC now have a 14% stake in the tournament, and the current broadcast deal ends this year, with negotiations up for next year. CVC will be looking to make back as much as possible on the deal, so if they can get offered more by one of the premium broadcasters, they'll likely go for it. The Six Nations is also no longer a category A broadcast event, meaning the only provision needs to be for sufficient highlights on free to air TV.

They should ask the England and Wales Cricket Board how their version of "growing the game" went after selling the rights to Sky.

Money in the bank but with record low participation year on year, with domestic clubs except 3 or 4 entirely reliant on Sky's money drip-deeding down the county cricket chain. Won't be surprised if the same happens here.

Edit: why does 14% stake suddenly give them the rights to dictate a deal, won't they be a minor stakeholder?

It’ll be tragedy and I’m not sure I will pay. (Although I did pay for a couple of ‘Amazon’ games in autumn so who knows.) It’s been a wonderful weekend of rugby and I really wouldn’t want it to disappear. Anyway, roll on next weekend.

Strategy for all teams against England:

1) Get scrum
2) Delay putting the ball in
3) Win penalty

Rooting for France therefore it'll be a Wales win via a calamitous French collapse

What a half. Hoping that the French side's relative youth and inexperience will start to show in the next, and hopefully Wales can close them out.

Really nice to watch a match with so few penalties as well.

Great match so far. Pretty much as good as F vs E. Second half going to be fascinating. Just hoping Sean Edwards kicks some French arse at half time and that that proves to be the difference. Regardless, so far, the winner is rugby as a whole.

Stupid, stupid, stupid, just cost France the match surely.

Another captain’s innings by Mr Wyn Jones me thinks.
