Such a well worked try (although terrible attempt at tackling Adams by the SA winger  ). Glad to see Anscombe playing well when he came on.

Hopefully there's a decent ref for the final test, the officiating for the first two has been absolutely atrocious.

That AWJ sin bin was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen. Getting it wrong in real time is understandable, ignoring your linesman telling you to go to the TMO to check it is absolutely unforgiveable.

Ireland dominating this game, scored three good tries while NZ have struggled to really threaten.

EDIT: Of course they come out blazing second half

Yeah, they were dreadful first half, have set up a very interesting last quarter to the game now though.

The commentator with a godawful line earlier, "Johnny Sexton aging like a fine New Zealand pinot noir". What prompted this was a simple penalty in front of the posts

I burst out laughing at that

Brilliant performance by Ireland. Their defence was incredible in the final 20 mins of the game. Thoroughly deserved win.

Great game.

Good to get an entertaining game in before suffering through the Wales game later

Cracking game between Australia and New Zealand. Australia just took a 3 point lead 37-34 with a long range kick and 3 minutes left.

The benefits of working from home.

I think there will be some controversy over that ref decision at the end

I didn't realise until this morning either, apparently it was to avoid clashes with big ARL and NRL games this weekend. Worth checking out the highlights though, some good tries, a back and forth game and some interesting ref calls!

I see Wasps have finally been placed into administration and all players and staff have been made redundant. Some incredibly poor ownership of this club over the past few years. Spending money left right and centre, running up huge debts.

They’ve pretty much always been England franchise club in the professional era, moving around the country, never finding a permanent home successfully. Although their move to Coventry appeared to be a turning point for the club. A shame to see a big name go to the wall but I’m not surprised and don’t think they should be given any special assistance especially with how Worcester were kicked out of the league only weeks ago.

The first time Wales have ever managed to put more than 30 points past Australia, and we threw it away by letting discipline completely fall apart as the game went on. :fp:

Terrible autumn series. Really depressing stuff less than a year out from the World Cup.

What? It smacks of desperation IMO. It's a sensible choice with the World Cup months away, I suppose, which I assume played a big part in the decision to reappoint him, but it's not an inspiring choice at all, especially long-term if that's the intention.

Now we just need Jones to get the ax from England and Pivac to be apointed there to have some real fun.

Ive genuinely typed about 5 replies to this, I dont know how to react to this news, one side of my brain want comprehend it and then the other side has the answer. "He cant right the ship in 10 months, thats impossible", but if any coach can Gatland can and hes gotten miracles out of Wales before. "So whats the goal? QF? SF?", yeah and its way better than crashing out in the group stages by losing to Oz, Fiji and Georgia. "But how does this fix anything" it doesnt, its not supposed to, hes just supposed to paper over the problems and get Wales winning again.

I dont know, theyll almost certianly be better but it does seem like its just kicked the can down the road and at best Wales will have the same problem next time Gatland retires.

Handy to know who will coach the Lions in 2025 though.
