This is the best game of the tournament so far. Incredible stuff.

Edit: this is going to be so close, oh my god

Immense. Gutted for Scotland, but Japan absolutely deserve the win and to top that pool.

Next weekend's going to be amazing.

Do you know what, I'd love Japan to win the cup, they just seem so strawberry floating up for the game.

Scotland v Japan was a fantastic match. The quarter final matches all look like must-sees - going to be an amazing next weekend. Great shame about the cancelled matches but a lot to look forward to now I think.

Japan Vs Scotland shows the game at its best, superb from start to finish. Some very tasty QFs coming up too, should be a great weekend of rugby.

I'm on nightshifts, so will be asleep during the day. I'll try to stay up for Wales on Sunday morning but may miss the other three :-(

Great 2nd try and good game so far. Feels very poised to go either way.

Played rugby for 15 years and still dont understand how fouls at the scrum work.

I don't understand how either side can be so blatant at not putting the ball in straight at scrums.

Honestly, they might as well get rid of scrums now.

Nobody feeds straight and the majority of penalties seem to be decided by coin toss.

Usually not a fan of "short fuse" Sinckler, but I'm genuinely so pleased for him to get that try, especially after the way the Aussie front row have been winding him up.
