Sigh.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Clermont vs Leinster in the Heineken Cup. First half has ended 10-10 but don't take that as a bad thing. It's been helter skelter stuff from both sides! Possibly the best game of rugby I've watched this year.

mms://direct.francetv.fr/jt-20h.wsx if anyone wants to watch it. Unfortunately, it's in french.

Refereeing my uni tomorrow (accident of fixtures but there's a shortage so there you go). Is going to be so much harder and faster than the usual stuff I'm currently doing... but am looking forward to a real challenge ahead of a big local match on Saturday (which would have been the biggest game I'd done so far if not for the uni one tomorrow).

Good luck!

You don't happen to use the same username on 606, by any chance?

So with the Six Nations starting Friday, I thought I'd revive this thread to see if we can get some discussion going! Here's the fixture list

Friday, 04 February 2011
Wales v England, 19:45
Saturday, 05 February 2011
France v Scotland, 17:00
Italy v Ireland, 14:30
Saturday, 12 February 2011
England v Italy, 14:30
Scotland v Wales, 17:00
Sunday, 13 February 2011
Ireland v France, 15:00
Saturday, 26 February 2011
England v France, 17:00
Italy v Wales, 14:30
Sunday, 27 February 2011
Scotland v Ireland, 15:00
Saturday, 12 March 2011
Italy v France, 14:30
Wales v Ireland, 17:00
Sunday, 13 March 2011
England v Scotland, 15:00
Saturday, 19 March 2011
France v Wales, 19:45
Ireland v England, 17:00
Scotland v Italy, 14:30

So what are people's thoughts and predictions going into the tournament? I've got a ticket to the Fridays game and can't wait. I hope Wales can start off with a win because we desparately need one at the moment, it's going to be a very tough game though. I went to the Friday night game in Cardiff last year against France and the atmosphere was incredible, so against England it's going to be something else.

For Ireland, it all depends on how Ireland play. If they play like Leinster this season, Grand Slam. If they play like Munster, Wooden Spoon.

Hoping that after England's decent performance in the Autumn internationals, that things might be a bit closer this year. France and England to be the strongest teams, and hopefully Italy can pull out some decent performances to make things a bit tigher elsewhere. England win on Friday.

Wales are shockingly bad this half. England aren't even playing well, taking the ball statically and often losing meters. England should win this though.

That was a cracking win, close but really great composure shown in the bear pit.

To go down there and beat them is really pleasing.
