We'll of course he's going to be like that when Garland is taking shots.

Eddie Jones is always like that though.

True, and to be fair, while Gatland and Jones etc have their moments, Michael Cheika is by far the worst of the lot.

People are going to complain about England being smug either way, I'd rather have Eddie Jones strawberry floating with their heads than Stuart "Noble Lion" Lancaster crashing and burning.

As with all these things I think it's pointless labelling an entire nation of players/coaches/fans as smug. For every Dawson or Healy you've got a Jonathan Davies (who kept his Twitter banner as the post-victory shot from the 30-3 win for the best part of five years) or, God forbid, David strawberry floating Campese who is a straight up national embarrassment.

I'd say this England squad is pretty likeable. Seems difficult to dislike the likes of Curry, Underhill, Itoje, Slade, Daly, Nowell and the Vunipolas.

Eddie Jones may be a different matter, but the team itself seem a pretty likeable bunch. Which as a Wales fan, feels odd...

Today's (unprovoked) dose of salt:

"Well SA are going to smash the English anyway, so when we beat NZ it'll prove that we should have won the world cup"

You could enter those mental gymnastics next year in Tokyo and come away with a gold medal easily.

Where's everyone watching the final then?

I would love to go to our local pub for the atmosphere, but I'm not putting up with a room full of red shirts cheering on SA and calling me an English banana split again. Its pretty sad i cant go to the pub but there you go.

So we'll just be at home with the sound turned right up, and I'll probably have to pre warn the neighbours there will be a lot of shouting no matter which way the game is going.

Parents house, wife is away so I have the the kids for the weekend. Sharing the job of looking after the kids seems like the best approach to actually see some of the game!

Got friends coming to stay for the weekend with their kids so hoping we get to watch the game either at home or down the pub - but yeah the red shirt brigade will probably put me off the pub option as Ad7Victor mentions :dread: .

Oh and did I mention of the friends coming to visit the Dad is South African, this should be fun!

Probably going to a mate's house. Tempted by the pub, but it'll probably be rammed. Would rather chill on the sofa I think.

I work with a guy from SA and he was having a hard time on who to support. He dislikes Englad (the team) but he dislikes the Springboks as well.

I'll be watching from home. As for the Wales game, I'll be streaming it at my desk at work, and I'm not expecting to enjoy either the game, or the grief I'll be getting from everyone else in the office.

Remind them it's only a game.

Shitting myself about tomorrow now. It's doesn't matter, it's only a game, but I remember the feeling of the lat world cup win well and I'd love to experience that again.

I'm getting a bit giddy with excitement. Heading to the local pub with a big group, it opens at 8am so there is a genuine danger that I have too many before the game even begins as a way to deal with the nerves. :dread:

Remember to take a gift for the baby shower!

Do I have a drink that early... :shifty:

Shame our neighbours have a new born baby as it would have been great to invite them around for the game.
