Just read up on the match, sounds like I missed a good one. I just can't get enthused about this tournament, hopefully it'll change when I can go back to a few matches.

Amazon is absolutely the last place I want this to go, as I flat out refuse to use them.

I cant see the local pub forking out for a public viewing licence for Amazon prime on top of sky, so I guess that's the last of getting called an English banana split during a pub match :(

:dread:

Only possible positive that might come out of this is someone finally re-working the format of the competition, I genuinely forgot this years was still going on

Nobody wants this though unless it involves sorting out the fact Italy are not good enough.

This year's tournament has been brilliant drama, especially when you consider it usually thrives on fan support.

I've avoided all media for a week as I was just so gutted. I still cannot believe Wales kicked 3 points over when on the try line and a man up and on 70 minutes. It's ludicrous. The try was almost guaranteed and they would have secured the extra bonus point to win the tournament. Heartbroken doesn't cut it*. What an absolute waste.

*in relative terms when it comes to sport. I realise its just a game.

It put them 10 points in front. They would have fancied themselves to survive two scores a man up.

Bigger issues was Liam William's utterly stupid yellow card (what was he thinking?) and giving a penalty away on 79 minutes on the half way line when we had the ball.

I felt like that after the world cup final with England, just utter frustration at getting thst far, then letting themselves get shut down with endless penalties, then letting tries through.

Dont get me started on the gifted penalty at 79 minutes. What the actual strawberry float.

At least you weren't 10 points up and man up with 10 minutes to go :(

Maybe a bit of hubris was involved. Rugby can turn so quickly and teams should know better than to play it safe.

Yeah, momentum is huge in rugby. When a team has it, it's like a tide that's extremely difficult to stop. Once the penalty warning came, their heads just went completely.
