No Lions chat as of yet?

Not the starting XV that I had imagined, will be interesting to see how they play. But really looking forward to Saturday!

Lions team to face South Africa: Hogg; A Watson, Daly, Henshaw, Van Der Merwe; Biggar, Price; W Jones, Cowan-Dickie, Furlong, Itoje, AW Jones (capt), Lawes, Curry, Conan.

Replacements: Owens, Sutherland, Sinckler, Beirne, H Watson, Murray, Farrell, L Williams

Looks solid if a little unspectacular in the backs. Liam Williams and Farrell basically providing cover for all the backs positions bar scrum half.

Josh Adams very unlucky to miss out but guess he isn't strongest defensively. Price at 9 is deserved.

Looking forward to it!

Really enjoyed the game. After ref decisions seemed to be going with SA first half, thought Lions had the rub of the green in the second. Although that's not to say they didn't play well second half. Itoje was unreal, AWJ a leader and Courtney Lawes suddenly woke up after half time. The pack was improved by subs so will expect changes next game there. Also, of the backs Henshaw played well, and Biggar ok, and I thought the rest were disappointing especially back 3. I'd bring in Liam Williams at full back, Adams on wing and Ake for Daly minimum.

Would expect nothing less from someone who has taken the role of water carrier so he can coach the players when he gives them water :slol: :fp:

Ireland's matches are on Channel 4 (they're playing New Zealand tomorrow at 14:25) but otherwise all the other matches are only on Prime as far as I'm aware.

I'm pretty sure you can get a month of Amazon Prime for free if you haven't been in a customer in past year, if it helps.

Got tickets to watch Wales v Fiji on Sunday.

Despite the fact I've spent more than 10 years of my life living in Cardiff it will be my first visit to the Principality stadium. Should be a fun day out! :toot:

£20 if you can run out on the field and interfere with a Fiji try attempt.
