Cant understand the thinking behind it at all. Whatever about Pivac who is unproven, Jones has shown he gets the World Cup right and hes talked about building to it and it being a process the whole time. Why trust the process this long and then bail with 9 months to go? Wales can argue theyre in a better place now with a more experienced coach in place for the World Cup but England cant claim that, this can only hurt their chances, not help them.

I know this video predates the latest Autumn series which has sealed Eddie's fate, but it's a pretty good argument that England's latest run of form is a result of using "safe" tests to experiment and test a squad in prep for the world cup, and that this is all part of building a squad and game plan to go through and win that. In that context, it seems even madder to get rid of Jones now.

A tweet earlier today by Matt Giteau supports Squidge's hypothesis full on. This was NOT the time to bail out. Just hope we get Borthwick or it will all have been for nowt.

Well that was bleeding obvious. Don’t really understand why Gatland went back. At least Wales were not stupid enough to diss Shaun Edwards like England’s upper echelons half-wits were.

Still, enjoyed the first two matches enormously and both went the way of the deserved. Look forward to tomorrow’s match too.

Superb weekend of 6 Nations it has to be said. Ireland got the job done (mostly, that second half was disappointing), Scotland beating England is always fun times and Italy matching France for 70 something minutes was brilliant to see. Hoping this isnt another false dawn for Italy and they can back it up with more performances like that, I expect Wales to get better and Scotland to regress a little but I have no idea what to expect from England, they could push on and use the defeat as motivation or this could just be the start of cracks appearing. Ireland vs France this weekend is the championship decider I think, the slam wont be easy for either side but winning that game will all but engrave the winners name on the trophy.

Yeah, Ben Youngs left out of squad! Thank goodness for that.

Hope this weekend’s games are as good as last weekend’s.

What an incredible first 20 minutes in Dublin. Great energy and tempo and those might be the best 3 tries of the tournament.

Edit: after that Scotland try last week maybe :slol:

This is game of the year stuff, loving it.

Absolutely should have been a red for that shoulder to the head tackle in the first half.

Great game. Ireland deserved winners.

Such an incredible side right now. Ultimately France couldn't match their intensity and Ireland were ruthless when given even half opportunities.

Enjoyed it a lot.

As a neutral I enjoyed both matches. Respect though for two great coaches - Andy Farrell and Gregor Townsend.

I wonder what tomorrow holds....
