Holy gooseberry fool. God I wish this tournament was in a more time-friendly part of the globe!

Welsh people :fp:

Counter point, an English guy I work with who is also coming to the Wales Australia game today has just sent me a picture of him wearing the Australia top he's bought just for this occasion.

Very strawberry floating yes! Worth every penny of this trip out here, and worth every minute I've spent watching Wales lose to Australia in Cardiff.

Highlight of the game: Eddie Jones getting booed by Welsh and Australian fans when his mug went up on screen.

We were shite, Japan were great, hope to strawberry float we actually learn from this and adapt our gameplans a little more. Trying to run the home team around the park when thats what they want was just strawberry floating stupid. James Ryan was out on his feet for the last 15 minutes yet we were still trying to push the tempo and play fast. Russia on Thursday, it theyre not put away by half time then something is seriously wrong.

Still ecstatic about last weekend.

Beating Australia in a world cup is something the Welsh aren't used to :-D

Hopefully the quarter final draw gives us France over England. I'll be rooting for England the next few weeks. Well, if they beat Argentina I'll be rooting for England against France anyway.

Talk about France USA being abandoned due to a typhoon and the game being awarded 0-0.

I'm not sure if there's anyway round that but it will be really sad if the group is decided by that.

Completely unfair on France as they'd beat USA. Although it may mean wales get a quarter final against Argentina instead which would be slightly easier.

Shame they can't play it behind closed doors somewhere else, so no fans are at risk etc.

I don't live anywhere near Fukuoka, but the typhoon looks to be passing quite far to the west of Kyushu. It's currently over the Chinese coast so it's going to require quite a jolt to head due east towards Japan.

I can safely bet my forum credibility that it won't be called off. I didn't know anything about a typhoon until I read your post so it's unlikely to be a big deal.
