They probably do, but are currently preoccupied with all these foreigners who have suddenly come over here, and how they can get them to leave as quickly as possible

I'm not sure if there's anyway round that but it will be really sad if the group is decided by that.

I don't live anywhere near Fukuoka, but the typhoon looks to be passing quite far to the west of Kyushu. It's currently over the Chinese coast so it's going to require quite a jolt to head due east towards Japan.

I can safely bet my forum credibility that it won't be called off. I didn't know anything about a typhoon until I read your post so it's unlikely to be a big deal.

Good to hear. Few media outlets here overreacting for a story then.

Maybe they should break away from Asia, reclaim their island.

strawberry floating hell, made hard work of that one. Bonus point win is the main thing but it took far too long to get it done.

I'm guessing from the complete silence next door that it's not going well.

I can't check the score because the bbc site keeps going down. Last I saw was Fiji at 10. If Wales lose, are they out then or is it a must win next game job?

You can calm down Ad, if they lose they’ll still be through as long as they beat Uruguay.

It’s 10-7 now too.

The problem with Fiji is they always try to walk it in.

Sounds like a decent performance from Fiji, shame they couldn't get the win.

Would like to see Scotland and Japan go through from group A, but I realise that's unlikely. Short turnaround for Scotland too.

I don't think I've ever actually enjoyed watching Wales play Fiji.

Good result in the end especially with the bonus point against tough opposition but JD injury news is crucial here.

He did not look happy on the bench :dread:

England - France and New Zealand - Italy called off due to typhoon
Japan - Scotland potentially too
