Well that's extremely poor from the referees, definitely looks like it goes wide from that video. Of course there's no saying that they may have gone on to win the game anyway as they would have had to play with a different mentality if behind, but still, it certainly throws the whole result into disrespute. I would not be happy if I was French!

Shocked they got that wrong-it's far worse than the Hook decision versus South Africa which in fairness, you couldn't be 100% sure about even with the replays

Nah it went through. There was thousands of people there, around half the country watched it, someone would of said something before now. It's just some French idiot trying to get back at us.

I think from that video it looks like it curved and went through.

Whilst that is true in the context of the match maybe this and the Hook penalty that wasn't given will prompt a revision in the way that penalty kicks are monitored.

I don't know the answer but one thing is for sure, as rugby develops the way refs are scrutinised in going to be more and more like football. It is quite sad for the game to think that a RWC has been decided incorrectly.

Guys this isn't anything. Whoever made that video is stupid. It clearly went through. It is just from a stupid site, its got no other media coverage what so ever.

And if it didn't go through, it would of been spotted.

The players accepted it went over, you saw in the Wales match the players questioned it openly.

If Wales had beaten SA they would have played Australia...whom they lost to anyway.....for the greater gooood.
