As PPM said, biggest upset in World Cup rugby ever.

Also, there's a great angle on the Japanese try which shows a bunch of stewards going mental in the crowd celebrating

Highlight of one of the shots of stewards was the policeman at the back trying his hardest not to celebrate

Turned on telly and it was 29 all. What!!! Just caught the ending - truly amazing stuff. Now to watch the whole match on play back. Played Japan, awesome!

Holy strawberry floating gooseberry fool. I was out all of yesterday afternoon and evening and am gutted I missed what must have been such a captivating match.

Incredible result. StayDead must have been doing backflips down the stairs.

ITV commentator Nick Mullins has been criticised for saying that Fiji fans were "back in Fiji around one TV hoping the generator doesn't fail them.£

 :fp:

Anyway, Samoa looking like they'll win this. This group'll be interesting, SA and Japan must be favourites at the moment, could be difficult for Scotland.

Not fussed about Wales-Uruguay later, but looking forward to NZ-Arg tonight. :datass:

What was Mullins thinking  :fp:

That's straight from the Ron Atkinson school of commentary

Uruguay only have 4 professional players, expecting Wales to give them a thrashing.

If you're nervous before Uruguay how are you going to cope with the other 3 group games?!

Not sure I agree with Wales being allowed to play two of their games at home.

After what Japan did, i've taken a £2 punt on Uruguay winning this match at 400/1. Good start!

That was ridiculous but the ref has given Uruguay 2-3 dodgy decisions

You think SA were nervous before the Japan game? I get nervous before any Wales game - no matter who the opposition are.

NZ really shouldn't be allowed to do the haka if they don't pick any maoris in the starting 15

Can't help but feel Argentina should have gone for the try there with NZ having 2 players off the pitch.

Man it's so good having so much rugby on TV, and especially being able to see non-six nations teams. I get sick of seeing the same old teams time and time again.

Come on the Argies!
