Really could have done with scoring that try when we put them under early pressure. It's a slow game with too many scrums, something Australia are good at. I hope we can speed it up a bit and get over the try line, we're not gonna beat them in a penalty battle.

That is some incredible defending.

I know nothing about rugby and even I could see that Australia defended amazingly. Well done Manny's boys.

What is Cuthbert DOING? He was AWFUL against Fiji and he's strawberry floated up there. That's one of the stupidest bookings I've ever seen on a rugby pitch.

Credit where it's due - Australia's defence was absolutely incredible in that 10 minute spell. That was more a case of them being unbelievable than Wales screwing it up IMO.

I know it's hindsight but should have kicked for 3 points and gone again when they were a man down....but anyone would go for try when 2 men up I guess.

Mental defending from Australia there, I've never seen people get under a try before, let alone twice when two men down.

Disappointing that Samoa couldn't get the win. Poor Japan - if they win tomorrow they'll be the first team to ever win 3 games and still not go through to the QFs.

Aus-Wal was a pretty dull game for the neutral. Australia are too good, as are the other big Southern Hemisphere teams. Northern Hemisphere teams still lag behind.

Errr - what?! How could that game be dull for any rugby fan on the planet? That was utterly enthralling as was reported by the English and Irish presenting team after the game.

As for the southern hemisphere teams, the gap is closing. We beat SA in the Autumn Internationals last year and England have done quite well against NZ especially recently. The gap is closing. Don't be so negative.

Meh, I didn't really get anything out of it. Best bit was the Australian defending with 13 men. Enjoyed the Scotland-Samoa game more.

Still think Australia or NZ will win it, can't see any of the NH teams doing it.

That was a fascinating game for the neutral in my opinion.

Devastating game for a Welsh fan though :(

What a wasted opportunity. Australia look very strong though. Think they'll win it.

Cuthbert shouldn't be anyway near the team. He's an absolutely awful rugby player.

Any situation which doesn't involve him catching the ball to run into space and finish a move, he's useless in.

He's also really stupid. Really, really stupid.

Can't believe how Australia defended yesterday. Just crazy!

Cuthbert is so low on confidence it is painful. Butbour squad is so thin I think he has to play!

I think we can beat SA on the day. Just a bit concerned about the scrum as that could offer them plenty of penalties.
