Hyper Scape, Ubisofts new F2P BR game. Cancelled.

I’ll give it a try. Maybe this will be the BR that clicks for me, though I’m not optimistic. At least they’re (usually) free.

And it’s a relatively modest install size, unlike the ridiculous bloat of Warzone.

You have to move constantly, which is not something im used to...

The game is really sound mechanically which I enjoy. Kinda gives me an old school vibe with how it plays that's really fun. But I cannot keep up with these kids for the life of me lol. Also haven't played a competitive FPS since that Overwatch Beta ">,> The free to play nature of it is all so new to me still. Some of these microtransaction cost are pretty egregious too. Is normal for skins to be like £8-9?? Think I might stick to it a bit longer but I'm also kinda interested in trying out Rouge Company as well. Generally prefer 3rd Person shooters.

The game has no hit markers, you can’t tell if you’ve hit someone with your gun or not. That might sound minor but it’s a massive flaw.

I just assume I'm missing anyway so it would make no difference to me.

On top of higher health bars than usual, yeah it's a bit frustrating. I feel this is much better suited for Keyboard and Mouse. Played a few more games last night and started getting dizzy which wasn't a great sign for me lol. Think I'll pass on this for now and casually watch folks play it every now and then to see how the game is evolving.

Well it is an FPS.

True, but I was mostly saying this in regards to how it controls. You're having to look everywhere unlike most competitive shooters these days and I feel like that doesn't work as well with controllers. I'm also a very casual when comes these genres so it's still pretty overwhelming.

Unsurprisingly, this is being closed in April.
