so based on a glimpse of an interview with the developers it would seem nintendo do still co own which would make this the first nintendo game to appear on on nintendo platforms

cause you know mobile doesnt count apparently

Nintendo have agreed to it. I doubt Nintendo would sell them the IP.

Clever idea by Nintendo, let a remaster of this come to all platforms to gain exposure and if it sells really well then green light a Switch exclusive sequel.

EDIT: Currently sitting at over £740k, PC and PS4 version stretch goals have been reached. Stretch goals from now looks to be additional DLC content (which will be free to backers)

It’s hit $1m and 15k backers.

I'll likely wait on the Steam version. The propect of playing this with locked 60fps and 1080p is too enticing to me.

It’s basically a glorified pre-order campaign, the money seems to be more for assisting with the publishing and additional content they will release. They obviously love this IP enough to go through all this, I hope it pays off for them this time.

It's definitely generated some buzz about the release.

Be really good for them if they manage to turn around a failed IP like this. They obviously have faith in it.

Backed. Never played the original but it looks quality so looking forward to giving it a go on Switch.

They put a ton of work, imagination and humour into it. One of my favourite tiny things about it is that they created individual super heroes that make up the team you control. They each have a theme, for example one of the heroes is called Wonder Toilet. He's a super hero dressed like a toilet.

Also, one of the best soundtracks in video games.

I didn’t want an Xbox version anyway. banana splits.
