Was anybody really expecting Platinum to want to have anything to do with Xbox if they had a say in it?

I actually owned the Wii U version but never got around to playing it. I haven't paid into the Kickstarter but I'll definitely pick it up when it arrives on Switch and finally give it a go.

I've rejigged the OP to reflect Platinums 4 announcements, looking forward to seeing what they will announce next!

Kind of hoping one of them is Scalebound back from the dead, thought that looked pretty good!

Glad this is working out well for them although I wont be backing it as I already own it. One of the best 7/10 games I've ever played.

Glad to see the kickstarter did well, as it was a pretty dam good game on the Wii U.
Will it be getting a retail release?

Whilst I enjoyed playing the game on the Wii U I can't say I have any particular desire to revisit it, so I'll be passing on the Kickstarter I think.

Anyone else getting a Capcom Five vibe from all this?

Backed the physical version. Close to a million quid in its first day is pretty incredible. Just goes to show how well it might have done if it weren't released on that bag of shite! :slol:

Wii U holds a special place in my heart, it may not have been the best Nintendo system but it tried some new things which gave some great, unique experiences (such as W101)

Backing the physical wasn’t bad actually price wise, ends up about £35 with shipping

This is just another kickstarter PR stunt.

Someone said earlier that they couldn’t get the game to ‘work’ and that was my experience too. The Wii U’s touch screen was fairly trash, in my opinion. Or I have something inherently wrong with my fingertips.
Get it on the PS4 store and I’d download it to try again for about 15 snoops.

You didn't have to use the touchscreen for W101, you could use the (I believe) right analogue. I assume that's what you'd do on the remaster, maybe.

You may have to pay VAT on top of that. Should be £7 more, not sure if there would be a handling fee on top of that as well. Probably depends who it ships with.

Oh really? I just assumed the price was all inclusive?

That would potentially take the price up to £45-50 depending on charges
