Which sidequest?

Getting Patches to go to Firelink. If you don't meet him in Cathedral of the Deep he appears in the tower at Firelink.

You need to do it if you want to finish the Siegward quest and learn all the gestures but be warned he might kill Greirat

Ive got a pyromancy tome that the guy in the shrine won't look at. He says I need to take it to someone else?

There's a Mage you can rescue in Irithyll dungeon but I forget where you get the key.

Actually, Patches SAVES Greirat, not kills him.

If you send Greirat out to Irithyll there is a chance he will die. There are two ways to prevent this. 1: buy Siegward's gear from Patches and give it to him outside the cleansing cathedral. Siegward will then go to Irithyll and Greirat will return saying he was saved by a peculiar onion knight.

2: don't buy the armour, but when Greirat leaves tell Patches where he went. Patches will say he owes Greirat for helping him and will put on the Catarina armour like he did in the cathedral and leave. When Greirat returns he again says he was saved by an onion knight, though this time it's Patches.

Wow, that's pretty cool.

Estus Ring is pretty sweet, too.

I tried this a couple of days ago and although you can get the estus shard and the ring using the tree jump, you can't trade with the crow (he's on the very top of the roof).

You can only do one trade per item, but there is the possibility of getting multiple items. Shame theres no glitch like in the original!

So I killed the Skeleton guy with the gold bracelets, thing is I summoned some help, but summoned 2 guys in error, while I was getting my bearings, they pretty much finished him of for me

I felt proper useless :lol:

So now, Ive got a knight with some stupid staff just round the corner from the cleansing chapel.
Im at a standstill at the smouldering lake.
And now Im off past the bonfire after I killed Wolnir :wub:

There is (or at least was) a glitch to duplicate boss soul items in this game unless it has been patched out.

My favourite part of this is when he's strawberry floating miles away and still getting hit. Four games in and that's still happening on a regular basis.

A channel I follow has ranked the hardest and easiest bosses in the Souls/Borne series. That pinwheel boss is quite something :lol:

Question, the rings that I carry, that are equipped. Can I only have one active at a time, the red watermark indicates which one is equipped? Or do all 4 contribute their bonuses?

Each equipped ring will grant its bonus.
