Where do i go now? It doesn't seem obvious as theres no area immediately after. That bit before getting to the prince is pretty tough in itself if it were to be done alone!

You been to the smouldering lake yet? Goodies galore there. Been away from this for a week, I was getting frustrated at the part you're at I think, those knights would cut me down in seconds if i let them get a combo going :x

After Prince Lothric: go to Shrine. Place his soul in throne.

But I converted it to souls! :fp:

I think he means just go to the throne where his named is inscribed.

Ok, will do tonight - thanks. How the hell are we supposed to know this?

You're not. :slol:

So without the internet I would never complete this game?

I think just morbid curiosity you'd eventually stumble on the answer by mistake

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

One of the first things I did upon reaching the firelink shrine was check out all the giant thrones. They have the names of bosses written on the back! It's not that hard to figure out.

Aye, and NPCs always chat about you needing to take the Lords of Cinder back to their big thrones -- it's not that hard to figure out.

This thread has taught me how incurious a fellow Gamerforever is! Whilst I didn't take the return the lords back to their thrones bit literally, I did think to inspect the thrones when I was up there chatting with Ludleth of Courland. Next thing I knew *bam* one of the defeated Lords was returned to his throne.

I'll have to check a bit later but I'm certain the item you get from defeating the lords specifically states to place it on their thrones.

Edit:

"Cinders of a lord left by the Abyss Watchers/Aldrich, Devourer of Gods/Yhorm the Giant/Prince Lothric

If the lords will not return to their thrones themselves, let them return as cinders."

It's not that obvious either! I'll let FROM off, because it is one of the best videogames I have played this generation and I am happy to say the games consistency has remained throughout.

I lit all of the thrones, but haven't got to dragonarch peak yet. A quick look online and i have figured how to get there. Seriously, how would someone without online help get there?

It's a optional, secret zone. Lack of signposting is doubly intentional. But chances are that helpful players will have hinted at you having to use a gesture by means of in game message system. Also, the bodies sat on the mats are in a very particular pose which you don't happen to have access. You use other gestures but nothing happens. Figure it out yo!

Good luck with the boss. And the mobs.

@Gamerforever: There's nowt wrong with using a guide if you want to streamline some of these puzzles and see everything the game has to offer. But I think pretty much everything is 'work-out-able' from what the game tells you, and definitely from paying attention to messages (which, to be fair, I sadly can't see because my FPS isn't high enough :( ).

I learned my lesson after Demon's Souls :slol: After clearing each zone I check online to see just what I missed. If I feel I explored thoroughly, got plenty of sweet loot then I just carry on with next zone.

Also don't just convert boss souls into souls, at least not in your first run through the game... or second for that matter.

So I got to stick my dick in this for a couple of hours last night and it was the best sex I've had all month. Killed the first boss and died for the first time at exactly the same moment  Then carried on to Firelink Shrine and ran around for a while feeling out all the twists and turns. Actually managed to kill that NPC and got an uchigatana and masters gloves/shirt. Though I may have repeatedly snuck up behind it and then ran away :shifty: Now I've gotten to the next area and found two dragons but haven't tried getting past the living one yet. Can't wait for tonight and the weekend!

I figured it was a secret area as soon as I walked past it and read the message. :? And then I when I got the dragon gesture it seemed obvious what to do.

I find that Dark Souls endings are like women, in the respect that I will never understand either of them.

"There is no hunting like the hunting of a man. And those who've hunted armed men long enough, and like it, never really care for anything else thereafter."

These huge Bloodbourne style Las Plagas enemies are kinda boring, less tactical and more "SURPRISE! I'M HUGE" followed by either getting lucky or unlucky in the following scuffle.

Edit: Ohhhh you can kill them before they burst out.

Yup.

Until later in the game where you reach a particular zone and they're already in that form :x It's not too bad though as their aren't that many of them in the game. Also in that one particular zone, you can of course use the tried and tested Souls method of Just Run Past Them.
