I've had one trophy to get to platinum this for about 4 years

It's the one to get the special armour, trouble is I've already got like 3/5 of the collectables you need, but I don't know which ones, so I'd have to go into all of the bunkers and check, just couldn't be bothered

I’m sure there’s a piece that if missed you can’t go back and get as I’ve never been able to get it.

And that's it done, got the platinum as well :datass:

Overall a very good open world game with a strong combat system and some truly beautiful vistas to take in. Game felt much better when all the HUD was disabled to actually make it more about exploring and paying attention to the world, hoping they keep the level of customisation for that in the sequel.

Dynamic HUDs should be a standard in most games honestly. First thing I turned on in the options.

How this hasn’t had a PS5 patch I’ll never know. The most ideal candidate if there ever was one. It got about 80 hours out of me, including Frozen Wilds, what a game.

I have a horrible feeling it'll be getting a PS5 "remaster".

Y’know what, I hate ‘em as much as you do, but would I be suckered in to get it? Probably :fp:

A 60 FPS patch would have been incredible, given they've had a team working on performance updates for the PC version you'd have thought they would have been able to port that across to PS5 easily enough but I guess they have their reasons! (money)

Constantly blown away with just how impressive this game looks while also being open world. Took on my first Cauldron yesterday and that stark contrast to the usual setting is so damn cool.

Visually the Cauldrons are really cool but I found them very dull to actually play, fortunately there aren't too many of them!

They’re aesthetically really really similar to the vaults in Mass Effect Andromeda. It’s a look I just couldn’t get onboard with.

Yeah it gave me super BoTW Shrine vibes funnily enough. But seeing as there's only a few of them, I think that's a good balance. Might not hit as hard the second time but it's still a nice change of pace.

So finished this last night, Really enjoyed it. Got a bit bogged down with the last few DLC errands and was just doing them to complete them so left them, Really looking forward to the next one now!

I'm now starting the final mission, which will nab me the Platinum Trophy in the process. I haven't really Trophy hunted for years, but this game is going to sit with 2 trophies missing, for new game +. I am seriously tempted to play it through on Hard just to unlock those final 2 so the Trophies tally up to 100%, but I've put over 100 hours in at this point. Still, the fact I am even considering it bodes well for the quality. Have enjoyed it very much.

On to the final battle. :capnscotty:

The silly neighbourhood vegetable.

Started this last night after downloading for free back when. Done the opening girl section. Graphics are poor compared to RDR2 and God of War. Will keep going.

I also started it recently; melee combat is very underwhelming and the character models/animations suck, but other than that it's pretty good

Can't remember at what point it was exactly but eventually the combat in this clicked for me and I started to really enjoy it, but there was definitely quite a long awkward phase where it never left me very satisfied
