I think 3 is the most, shadow are the best weapons/final weapons.

However

Apparently if you complete the hunters lodge quests you get gold weapons. Not done it myself though.

Wish my image sig would work

Pushing through story missions. It's very well done, big vision but pulled together via some well done cut scenes. Seen every creature now. Crocodile still my fave, I do love taking our herds of deer by using flame arrows on on if their backs then boom!

Climbing is very tomb raider/uncharted with little user interaction. Also human enemies and human combat is poor. Oh and the melee attacks are shockingly weak against humans. But all small complaints with a brilliant game.

Wish my image sig would work

I don't mind the combat against humans, the mission I just did with the three camps was awesome. Picking them off from a distance with the sniper type bow then realising your guys are sneaking in to the camps while you're at work ready to pounce once you take out the alarms... this game

I think I'm coming towards the end of the main story. I've finally fought and killed a large storm bird so now all enemies have been scanned and killed.

I'm finding the merchants a real let down because as soon as you get the final purple weapons which are available early on. There is nothing really left to buy. The inventory is still cluttered on the resources page, hopefully it'll get patched soon.

I'm interested to see how the story concludes as they have set it up pretty well. Hopefully it'll set up some dlc story or a sequel as it's a world that has ton of potential.

Wish my image sig would work

Stealth, stealth works for most enemies in this game if you are patient. If not fire arrow the shells and dodge.

Also and more importantly, take on one at a time. If you can do a stealth strike from the off you will be onto a good start

Get yourself whatever best sharpshot bow you can get, fire a tear arrow right in its face and that should knock out both it's shield and weapon then distance yourself and pop a fire arrow or 3 in to it and should go down easy enough.

Just started this! Photo modes are the best new trend in games.

Feels quite Tomb Raider-y to begin with, but Aloy is already less annoying than Lara.

Did anyone else spot the FARO name in the metal world underground section and wonder if it was a bit of sponsorship from the 3D scanning company?
