Rumour | Resi 7 Destined for E3?

Resident Evil 7 poster points to E3 2013 reveal – rumourResident Evil 7 could be revealed at E3 next month, as suggested by a promotional poster that has leaked online. Treat this one 100% as rumour though. You have been cautioned.

This post on Boxden suggests that the image was intended to be kept under wraps for some time, but how they got a hold of this is anyone’s guess.
But of course, we all know that anyone with Photoshop skills can whip together a semi-convincing piece of art in no time, so again, treat this as rumour for now.
We’ve reached out to Capcom for comment.

I haven't bothered getting around to finishing 6 - a first for the series.
Dare I bother hoping that 7 is a more traditional survival horror experience?

I hope Resi 7 doesn't turn up for a couple of years yet. I loved Resi 6, it was a much better game than 5 ever was, but let's not rush out the next one.

This would also be welcome. It'd be wonderful to see the series reborn with all of the best features of the pre-RE4 survival horrors and the RE4-onward action games melded and meshed together in a perfect fusion of excitement and terror, without all of the series' baggage weighing down on it.

Enjoyed RE5 on PS Plus (FREE)
The demo for RE6 didn't convince me, plus I don't like these multiple character games - surely it ruins the flow and doesn't feel so 'epic'?

RE5 was a great game, absolutely loved the co-op and item management between you and your partner. Only thing I didn't like was towards the end when it slowly started to turn into Gears of War and the zombies had guns. Didn't play it with the AI.
I really wanted RE6 to be more of the same, but they canned item management and gave everything guns.

Resident Evil 6 is the worst RE game I have the misfortune to play. And I liked Resident Evil 5 for christ's sake.
It's not just the multi character approach. That was refreshing.
It's just stupid designed piece of shite ever.
