Anything before X is worthy, anything X or afterwards that's already released isn't a must play.

Disagree, I did like X and loved XII which still remains one of my favorites. XIII series took a major dip though, XI isn't running anymore and if I had time the MMO of A Realm Reborn was pretty special.

PLAY | Persona 3 Reloaded [3h]
WATCH | Ted Lasso S3, HiJack S1, Red Dwarf S4, Dexter S2

They need a to keep the world map whatever they do, i think the size of midgar would be an issue having roaming fields and a sandbox world but not impossible.

They already have characters, storyline, voice actors and I'm assuming a game engine so all they need is to build the world and battle system however as its taken them a year to port the PC version I doubt we will see this pre 2017.

I would be happy if they keep turn based but wouldnt argue should they find another route like FFXIII however it's important the materia system stays.

Oh and I don't want random battles

I said "isn't a must play" which mean the rest on/after X isn't really that bad but it's not totally good either.

XII may be good but it does drag on a bit story wise. Doesn't help that the characters are very lukewarm at best.

I kept the faith, through all the jeering, and here we are. Next stop, the Resident Evil 2 remake.

Nomura's departure from XV makes more sense now.

I can't even remember the rest of FFXII characters' names... :shifty: :slol:

The licence board, as good as it is, but it's a bit ridiculous that you must have a "licence" to wear a 5+def hat.

The early posts in this thread are very funny in retrospect.

I was listening to some orchestrated versions of FF VII tracks earlier, the main theme and Aeris' theme. Really looking forward to seeing (hearing) what they do with the soundtrack in this game.

If it's anything like Advent Children I would be very happy!

Used for the trailer

What they can do and can improve on

What could they do to replace the draw system I wonder! Couldn't do a Materia system I doubt it would work.

Maybe a learning ability like FF9, hold onto items until they learn that spell/move etc

It will never be the same as the original and i think we will have to accept changes.

Think of some of the cheesy scenes and than look at advent children and tell me they will still work!

I think they will make it more serious than it was. Will they let cloud dress as a woman and have the honey bee where you can look through the key holes? Only time will tell

Crossdressing scene has already been confirmed for the remake by Nomura

Good, what about the implied homosexual rape in the gym?

Wonder if they will use the voice actors from advent children, this would be ideal however we would have to deal with a over the top Scottish Cait Sith.

Also the guy who does the voice of Red has a very deep voice, hope he manages to pull off the side quest

Cait Sith is Scottish though.

If they use the same actors I hope they give them some better direction, I'm sure they're capable, but there's some really odd sounding lines in Crisis Core and Advent Children.
