Should I wait until the PS5 upgrade or play this soon from PS+.

So you have to actually purchase the game to get the PS5 upgrade. The PS+ version will always be the PS4 version.

Personally I'd just play the free PS+ version and save a bit of money!

Other than the odd quirk it's a stunning looking game on PS4 so I'd say go for it

The upgrade for this is out tomorrow correct? I’ve yet to play my PS4 copy so I’m glad I waited

I just started playing this. 4 hours in, and i love the world and characters (especially Tifa :shifty:

) although Cloud is a bit of a grumpy git :lol:

Battle system seems cool but a little easy so far.

Oh just you wait until you get to a certain boss. It’s frustrating as hell at times but what a game.

Huh, the PS5 upgrade is out tomorrow? Didn't realise it was that soon.
Is the Yuffie DLC out tomorrow as well?

So is there an upgrade option for people who already own the game or do we have to buy it all over again?

As long it isn’t the PS Plus version, yes.

And no, it doesn’t include the Tifa DLC.

Dying to replay this when the upgrade is out since I had purchased the original it should be free, bu I remember the big difficulty spikes with the last bosses that drove me insane

I thought people were saying the PS5 upgrade was out today?
Or is that just for people with the disc version and anyone who bought the PS4 version digitally needs to wait until tomorrow? When I go to my game library I only see the PS4 version available, whilst in PS Store the Intergrade listing is marked as Unavailable because it's incompatible with the PS4 version I already own.

I didn’t create this thread so dunno how it comes up under my ownership.

And it’s out tomorrow officially for the PS5.

Biggest news is they've fixed Clouds shitty low res door :toot:

Downloading the PS5 version now via my disc copy. Also downloaded the free item pack. Haven't played this yet on PS4 so really looking forward to the upgrade features
