I kind of want to play this but I have a bad feeling it'll be one of those times that nostalgia doesn't pull through and I find it's aged horribly.

Believe the bullshots mate, I have eyes, and it’s a load of bollocks. I’ve played the bastards last year and the trailers for this are no different. I’ve played the 360 version of Burnout Paradise and then the ‘4K’ version in the same evening and it’s literally bullshit. They’re conning people, man.

Yep. They are showing the odd, very specific screenshot. No videos. I do not believe them.

Didn't really expect them to change up anything about ME1 beyond the resolution and framerate, so surprised at a couple of the snippets shown. Not sure about the change in mood from that Eden Prime screenshot, but I'm interested to see comparisons once it's out.

The official site says that the remastered Mass Effect will feature "gameplay enhancements". It details "improved aiming and weapon balance, sound effects, better Mako controls, input/controls, squad behaviour, cover behaviour, and gameplay cameras".

I've never played these games so this recalling interests me, but 3 games is a hell of a commitment.

Only one of them is worth playing.

Those screenshots look like they've whacked a new lighting system on there, uprezzed the textures and that's it. I expect the gameplay changes to be minimal.

Must admit, considering how long this has been rumoured, and the good will that BioWare desperately needs to earn back given Andromeda and Anthem, this does look extremely underwhelming.

Judging by the screens on this page, EA seem to think that everything looks better when you’re being blinded by sunlight.
