The link in the tweet takes you to the Venturebeat article which outright says this is the EA HD title that will be announced at EA Play 2020. Jeff Grubb leaked the both of last months Directs (Indie and mini)

 No chance. +£30 STAX.

But yes, gimme ME2. Don't trust them to not strawberry float with it, so I'll take a remaster instead of a remake. And anyway, a remaster will load faster and so flow better moment to moment. Also there'll be less chance of my PS4 deafening me with a remaster.

Could they just remake the last bit of ME3, please? I need them to make that not gooseberry fool.

strawberry float sake, literally replayed 2&3 about a month ago.
Fail to see how much better they can get it looking, tbh.

There's a lot of room for improvement in the first game I reckon. I loved it at the time but can't imagine it holds up too well now.

been thinking about a replay so if this is actually competent with all the dlc in it

plus I suppose its the only thing they have to even attempt to resurrect any faith in bioware these days

Really hope it includes all the DLC.
If it does I'd be all over this day 1.

While I've played ME1 & 2, I can't remember a thing about them, apart from the Genophage, so I'd be up for experiencing it again.

Let's hope they've replaced the terrible Tali Photoshop with some original art this time

Meh. It's like starting a Game of Throne rewatch. What's the point?

I’ve not played Mass Effect but I know your pain if it’s a valid comparison between the two

Yea, literally three of the best games I've ever played strawberry floated up literally in the final twenty minutes.

It's really not.

The ending in Mass Effect uses the same kind of logic as End Game but people got upset because they somehow expected all of their decisions to result in 50 different endings

Most of the plot and the way the characters act makes complete sense.

That’s strawberry floating nonsense. No one expected 50 different endings, they expected an ending that made any semblance of sense given the preceding 50 hours of narrative. The ending is nonsensical.

I'm long past being bothered by the ending but you couldn't be more wrong here. Anyone with the smallest bit of common sense knew there was no feasible way your choices in all three games could significantly change too much. I would've been fine with a single ending for everyone if it was competently written and fitting to everything that preceded it. Mass Effect always bent the rules of its own fiction but the ending was disappointing because it snapped them while neglecting the characters, and not even for the sake of a satisfying payoff.

1 > 3 > 2 btw

Can you summarise for me? Mass Effect 1 and 2 is one of my fave gaming experiences ever but I fell off 3 because I heard the ending was gooseberry fool.

1 was good for its time. 2 was one of the best games of last gen. 3 was worse than 2 gameplay-wise and the ending actively ignored the choices you'd made in the previous two games.
