Well there's been a Mortal Kombat/ Injustice game every other year since 2011, so yeah I wouldn't be surprised if we see another one.

I found it really offputting that Mortal Kombat X was a cross-gen game running UE3

I've been waiting for a photo-realistic Mortal Kombat since MK3, if Injustice 2 is anything to go by I'll get my wish

Haven't properly played Mortal Kombat since...erm...I don't know. The one that came after 4, I think. I remember it being a story driven side scroller. It was on PS1 anyway, and it wasn't very good.

I did play the demo of the 2003 reboot though, but I think it lost some of that magic when it moved to 3D. It wasn't as good as Tekken, Soul Calibur, Virtua Fighter...and then Street Fighter also went 3D and was superior as well.

X was decent, played quite a lot of that on my lunch break. I even managed to learn some of the deeper move sets, much to the annoyance of some colleagues.

I have MK 9 on PC and quite like it. Always had a soft spot for MK. I'm more interested in the forth coming Soul Calibur though.

Unreal Engine 4 now supports Switch, so I'd expect a straight port of the PS4/XBO version with the resolution and detail dialed down.

Looks like the last MK? Are they going to show the Switch version at this event?

Out a lot sooner than I expected. Going to be an expensive few months.

I wonder who the DLC will be, I'd like Chucky (he does have a reboot movie out this year) ,
