I don't like butter on my cheese sandwich. I'll have butter with Bacon or something, but I wouldn't take a bacon sarnie into work and then eat it cold or heaven forbid microwave it hours later.

Cold bacon is good bacon.

Butter on Sandwiches is foul

Cold bacon - hell yeah. Cold sausage - get to strawberry float.

Cold sausage > cold bacon > my miserable life

What?

Roast pork (roasted by my own fair hand at home), with stuffing and apple sauce, between two slices of granary bread and Lurpak butter. Kept in the fridge at work in a tupperware container.

strawberry float, I'm hungry now.

For work I change between those packs of flavoured rice that take 2 min in the microwave and sarnies.

For my sarnies I like Kingsmill 50/50 bread, dairy free Vitalite and Asda brand sandwich fillers. Three cheese and onion is my fav followed by chicken & bacon, prawn with sea food sauce, or chinese chicken depending on what I fancy.

I always have a yogurt (either a French yogurt or Muller Fruit Corner), and a digestive biscuit for desert.

Occasionally I might take an apple with me.

Having said that, I was once involved in a battle with a work colleague, to out-do each other’s lunches. He gave up when I took in a sandwich of mozzarella and salami, in home-made focaccia baked with black olives and sun-dried tomatoes.

Still probably my favourite

Chicken, sun dried tomatoes, manchego and basil on ciabatta.

Also, big fan of ciabatta spread with goats cheese and then topped with tomatoes roasted with honey and chilli flakes.
