Basically just diversifying his money I imagine.

The guy can do what he wants with his money but I find it rather concerning that a once great company is now almost solely owned by someone largely considered a dictator.

He already owned a lot of it so it isn't surprising. Give it another few years though and SNK will probably go bankrupt again

Just reading that story in more detail he also owns more than a 5% stake in Capcom along with over $3 billion in shares spread between Blizzard Activision, EA and Take Two.

His goals do admittedly seem noble as he wants to secure a stable future for Saudi Arabia outside the oil industry it's just that almost everything else about him is decidedly less than noble.
