You're probably right danbo. I'm glad I'm not going to be in Scotland if the No comes through tonight.

Personally it's about politics not nationalism. I mean we're always going to be Scottish.

Yeah, I doubt it's a problem somewhere like Dounreay or Aberdeen where there is a lot of integration. Glasgow is a different story. I tend to keep details of my lineage locked down when meeting groups of new people there - if you've heard me speak you'd know that nobody would peg me for a sassenach if I didn't tell them about it.

I haven't really been following this thread too closely, so not too sure how our fellow Scottish forumites feel about the matter, but out of the Scots I know personally (approx 10) I just can't see this turning out anything but an overwhelming Yes vote.

Appreciate 10 is a small sample number, but the fact I've yet to meet a Scot who would vote no, I just can't see them not getting what they want. Very interested to see what happens tomorrow morning, even though I don't fully understand the connotations of a Yes result.

Whatever the outcome of this, labour support in Scotland is strawberry floated. I asked my friends if they would vote for labour again whatever the outcome and the responses were overwhelmingly along the lines of "get those banana splits to strawberry float"

When the inevitable No victory is announced tomorrow morning, can we have the GRCade logo changed to the Union flag?

I want to rub it in their filthy faces...

As a uni student in the south of England, will this make any practical difference to my life either way? Just need to know whether to feel pleased or not when it goes either way in the morning...

Typical bullying from Yes

I'm looking forward to getting a Salmons haircut in a Yes vote.

Lamont's a strawberry floating terrible leader. I could see jim Murphy being the next leader of Scottish labour if he falls out with the Westminster crowd; his tour around Scotland was basically just massive self promotion. Handled the hecklers well though to be fair

Christ. Is that cumulative? I feel a bit bad for reporting it now, but that was a really nasty post.
