This may surprise you, but a majority of people in Scotland simply wished to remain part of the UK. It had nothing to do with being 'scared'.

I have received from Prototype a tweet saying ''the vote was rigged and they are still seeking freedom''

Eighthours, No they did not, you english muffins just want to beat the gooseberry fool out of the poor little brother.

''Saying it's because I was controlling you and making you sad when actually I just asked you to wear some trousers''

The one where you were rude and condescending? Start a discussion the refuse to have one could your asked to explain your point. Yeah nice one.

Discussion thread? Doesn't look like one.

Interesting. Wondering that's immediately or at the next election.

And the day just gets better. I was content enough with seeing Patrick Harvie of the Scottish Greens (Yes campaign) denied his dream of a socialist nirvana in a newly-independent 'sustainable' Scotland, but I didn't quite expect a Brucie Bonus on the same day.

Twitter is barely worth bothering with when important stuff is actually happening.

As a person and a speaker I can't stand Alex Salmond, but I can't argue that he's been a good first minister and spokesman for Scotland. For anyone feeling a bit of schadenfreude watching his press conference (I haven't seen it yet), remember that last night was the culmination of his career and his life's work, and he ultimately failed. Whatever you think of his goals, spare a bit of sympathy.

I don't think being scared had anything to do with it. It just makes more sense for all parties.that the UK remain together.
Scotland shouldn't leave the UK anymore than the UK should leave the EU.

Would you vote to join the Euro?

The Euro? No, absolutely not. But a vote for Scottish independence brought it one step closer to the Euro if it wanted to re-join the EU.
If there is an in/out referendum on EU membership for the UK though, I'll be voting for staying in.
