I finally did it :toot:

Used a macro to press down and space together (using VoiceAttack) a it worked, I can't believe I didn't try that before.

Thanks to BOR for suggesting it might be that I wasn't holding 'down' while pressing 'space'.

Finally got the motivation to load this back up tonight, finished off the Necromancers lair and now in the Haunted Mansion, hopefully I'll put a couple more hours into it at least tomorrow. Despite the combat looking fairly simple, the enemies sure do pack a punch if you don't break their defence, the skeletal knight type enemies in particular once they've lost the shield.

Edit, just beaten the Dweller of Woe..... Who could have seen such a twist coming at this moment in the game! :lol:

Edit 2, game time is about 8 and a half hours so far, anyone who's completed it, what has your finish time been? Feels like I've just what could be the first of 3 acts really, not sure if thats how the story is going to pan out of course.

I've put around 40 hours in so far (I play slowly and thoroughly explore every area) and I think I'm 2/3rds through the game.

Put about another hour into this evening, the combat while still ok is starting to feel like a chore, which is worrying considering I'm probably at best a 1/3 into the game (just about to get the ghost ship), it just feels like its,

- Save up magic energy/orbs
- Power up attacks/spells to try and break defence
- Rinse and repeat till they're all dead, healing when you have 2 stars on your combo

I mean it's fine but now the game is starting to throw more enemies into a fight fights just feel to take that much longer, could just be me of course, but when you don't seem to physically have enough moves to break even one enemies defence in time, meaning you could be hit by 4 or 5 enemies within 2 or 3 turns.

Yeah think I might be dropping this, it’s not a bad game but little bits are just slightly irritating me now regarding the combat, it’s probably just me being impatient with it but after another hour or so this morning I think I’ve had my fill with it, luckily Game Pass means I’m not £25 out of pocket, or I’d have probably pushed on and maybe loathed the combat by the end.

I think I'm almost at the end of the game now and I've explored every area 100% so far except one or two areas that I need to get further on with the main story.

I've also beat all wheel champions and collected 60 rainbow conch too. Also, there were some hidden bosses around in the world map which I've beaten them all.

I am on my way to the final area. :toot:

Just added B'st to the party and heading for the next area.

Whoever decided that the timed platforming sections were a good idea needs a hard kick in the plums (or clam).

Third time now I've got stuck at a section I'm physically unable to get past and had to get someone to do it for me.

Sea of Stars - Completed. 8.5/10! I enjoyed it a lot and I'll explore unfinished business in the map.

And.... completed again on a true ending.

There is one more trophy left, but I will have a little break and come back sometime soon.

This is quite beautiful. I hadn't known, but apparently backers of the project on Kickstarter could have a grave in a crypt, along with a message noted. There are *lots* of graves to check out and I could imagine that the experience could be quite emotional. Additionally, this chap from Nintendo Life arranged for a wonderful tribute to a gaming industry legend who sadly passed away a few years ago. Lovely :wub:

Finished it today, an 8 from me. Probably like Chained Echoes more but both fine games.

Very jealous of all those people who found it an 8/10. Hiding the true ending behind a collectathon absolutely torpedoed the game for me.

I didn't bother with the true ending despite only having to collect the remaining rainbow conches. I just watched the true ending stuff on youtube, might be confusing if there is a SoS2 for people who didn't.
