Well I’ll definitely buying myself a ‘Simpson’ Parrot. (I call all my animals Simpson if I can - after my horse in Red Dead 1&2)

Want a monkey, gonna name it Bob. Cause that's what I do, name things Bob after the cat in Animal Crossing.

Usually when I was sailing around on previous voyages, I'd see these shining lights in the sky and wonder what they were. Today, I decided to take a look and got around to investigating a shipwreck to find a Reaper's Chest. I also found a mermaid gemstone, which got me a very nice sum of 1500 doubloons [or whatever the gold coins are called]. But then I also discovered the risks of such adventuring, as finding a second one put me into contact with someone. Well, I'd crashed into a nearby island first, and got stuck on it for a minute or more.

Final result of that second one was me getting taken out in one hit with a cannonball, respawning just in time to bail water from my ship to avoid it being sunk, and making quick repairs in case that person decided to hunt me down (which I thought would happen when the ship looked as though it was following me). Rather than try to go into combat against another player, I stayed where I was, then noticed something glowing in the water. That lead me to a message in a bottle that took me to Crook's Hollow to defeat four skeleton leaders.

Can I not buy me a Monkey with in-game currency? Do I have to buy it a new currency with real monies? That's poop.

I also want a Capuchin with the Sea Dog outfit offer, but you can only get the white one, and I want the Whitebeard one

There's the Reaper Chests that give you that other currency, but it'd take a while to get to an amount that you'd be able to get a pet. And I'm pretty sure you can just randomly find skeletons with the coins as well. As said, earning it isn't going to be quick, which is why the exchange of money is there. Of course, if you're playing from Game Pass then it does show some support to Rare, which is always good.

I bought it, but still, I don't like paying for stuff in what is a full-priced game, but as I have it via gamepass I'll let is slide :shifty:

I'm pretty much the same. I haven't spent anything in the likes of GTA or Battlefront, but if it's a free game [or I got it for free] I don't mind showing a bit of support.

Yea had a fair bit in but its quietened down now so we're back on! On tonight actually gonna stream the new content... Of play the banjo with our skelly pets for 4 hours straight... Either one!
