I haven't done many but they pretty story heavy and bring you to locations you can't get to normally within the islands. They are very long though but thankfully you do get checkpoints along the way.

Previously the Tall Tales use existing mechanics, but make them far more focused. They largely take the form of a book that acts as a treasure hunt, which can take place on a micro or macro scale (kind of). Some of the vaults etc you can end up in are massive. Its far more engaging and rewarding than the simple quests that you accept from the different factions.

Actual story takes place when certain macguffins are returned to quest givers. Its really great stuff and introduces really interesting mechanics and a far more curated experience. But it really needs 2 or 3 people minimum for them to be fun imo (much like the rest of the game).

Will be interesting to see if this expansion follows the same route.

Failing all of that, its just an excuse to hang out with the Sexbox Squad

Shut up and take my money! Well my game pass subscription will definitely be downloading this at some point shortly. Wonder if they might extend the private servers to more areas of the game?

It really is. And similarly, the Top Gun DLC for Flight Simulator. They could have really cashed in on both of those, so it’s incredibly cool that it’s all included in Game Pass.
