I agree it was a bit excessive but it's actually a pre owned switch and it was made a lot more affordable because I'd just got a new phone so I traded in my old one. I didn't buy it to be flash. I bought it because she was clearly a big Nintendo fan and I thought it would make a lovely present that her whole family would enjoy.
I find it quite insulting to be called flash. That isn't my intention at all.

I wasn’t calling you flash, the £300 was just a large number I picked for the post - the intention was solely to illustrate to Wedgie that we only care about thought and effort, not the cash value of gifts.
