There's no situation where anyone should be Vesped.
I got hold of my SS present today - for the second time in the long and venerable history of this institution it was handed to me in person. There are two gifts, one is big and feels like a nerf gun, and the other present has the dimensions of a Switch game, which I've confirmed by holding the up to my SSBU box.
I also received some gifts for my cat, who has spent all evening munching on new flavours of treats so I'd say santa has already been very good to me before I even open the other two presents.
Heads up, since I'm working Christmas Day and the three days after, we'rehaving 'Christmas turkey day' on 24th. I'm not opening presents, alone at 5am when I've gotta get ready for work. I'm doing it a day early, with my husband and cat, after a fancy ass breakfast, in festive pyjamas and Elf on in the background. Sorry to break tradition guys!

My secret Santa has been super generou! (Can't think what they spent on postage for everything too) I got a bottle of baileys chocolate (great cuz I've not bought a bottle yet) and a Hawkins high school travel mug. I got a tote bag with the friends design but stranger things cast and some lovely chocolate treats for me (anung) and even a wee pack of treats for the cat. I swear that mog gets more than I do. Also a very cheeky Christmas card of Santa emptying his sack which looks lovely on the shelf.
Thank you very much! I'm impressed given up by post much and don't share a lot of interest in video games that makes up most of the forum content!
Opened my Secret Santa stuff there. Whoever my SS is, you are amazing. You have no idea how difficult it is to find Hufflepuff stuff in my country, and I've got a lot of plans for writing in the new year so this will all come in handy! So glad I kept it til midnight of Christmas, such a great way to start the festive day.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas my Secret Santa, and everyone on GRcade
I saved my secret santa gifts till last, to begin with I opened a lovely card saying "something for an old passion, something for an old collection, some new friends for a new adventure!"
I got a beautiful watercolour paint set which I cannot wait to open and use, a holder for my 50p coins that I collect (and had nowhere for until now!), and 2 plushies of Grookey and Scorbunny! I'm absolutely chuffed to bits! Thank you so much secret santa, you are a legend!
A massive thank you to my SS. A tasty (Though I must do my upmost best to stick to 1 a day) box of Lindor, my Luigi's Mansion mug, a new set of awesome looking rechargeable lights for my bike (Watch out Delta-Melter taxis drivers of Liverpool!!) and a Death Stranding iPhone 11 (I'm unsure which model 11 but I have mentioned in other threads I was upgrading to an 11 Pro Max) case so I'll pop that away for another 2 months before I can upgrade
Again, thank you
If both of my wheelie bins weren't actually overflowing with shite I'd give them a lovely photo session with included gifts
I'm now fully prepared for life in a galaxy far far away
I can avoid death by misadventure, make some credits as a storyteller, survive alien attack and avoid committing a social faux pas, all whilst having a proper brew and catching all the new Pokemon in the far far away region.
A massive thanks to my secret santa. Over the moon with my presents. Got the Citadel Spray Stick, some basing materials and some basing flock for my warhammer models. Will definitely be using them in the coming weeks! Huge thanks, I know i couldn't have been easy to buy for as I've hardly been active on the forums but really appreciate the gifts
I do, and she is a lovely wee thing currently munching on dreamies in the corner while I open presents.
We also have a family dog, who has spent all morning going mental over his newstrawberry floating tennis ball Nerf gun. We underestimated its power and almost smashed the neighbour two doors down’s window. I’d seen one of these in the pet shop last week for the first time and thought the gift might’ve been one, but I didn’t want to believe it in case I was disappointed.
And just because my SS is wildly over-generous, there’s a switch game - Mario Odyssey - in there as well.
I obviously know who bought for me, so a massive, huge thanks has to go to her for this because it’s incredible work, truly.
Pics and a video of drunken gun testing to follow.
