Stick them in the bin, they’ll be safe there.

Had a bit of trouble with Royal Mail the last couple of days. John Lewis delivery not showing up as in RM's possession despite it being despatched by JL (wife rang and confirmed with JL, apparently they're changing systems or something and deliveries aren't showing up when you track them) and my sister made my son an advent calendar which hadn't shown up yet. RM told her the lead time for first class is now five days due to social distancing etc.

Just a heads up!

Oh dear, well there's disclaiming liability from postage delays (as any retailer will, so it's fair warning!!) for customers and then this, so I will bring this forward. I 100% have to get my gooseberry fool online or no-one can buy it and then gain me my usual week or so to work on my Xmas gifting stuff, that's the plan anyway.

Failing that there's always the standard £13 special delivery parcel :slol:

Confirming that I recieved the second package that I know my SS sent a message to Chalmers about checking if I'd got it yet. It arrived this morning. Will get a photo of it in the bin later today where it should be ready to open on Christmas morning!

I've been poked!

I didn't realise how tough this would be until I sat down in front of my laptop to try and give you some help.

My biggest hobbies are board games and video games. Board games I own a gooseberry fool ton which makes it tricky to take a guess on what I do or don't own. I love social deduction games and strategy games in particular, but because I own so many it's tough to provide you with an easy list of which ones to avoid. I haven't really bought any new (as in, games out in 2020) board games due to Covid so that could be a safe bet if there's something that falls in to those genres that came out this year. I've not even really kept up to date on what's supposed to be good either so that would be a surprise either way.

Video game wise I own a PS5 and a Switch, plus my gaming laptop. The PS5 is my main gaming platform and I own only AC:V & Watch Dogs Legion as disk copies on there, everything else I own is what's been given away over the last 3/4 years on PS+. General rule is if it's not been on PS+, I probably haven't got it! The Switch I own even less, just Skyrim, Ring Fit & that Goose game. I know i'm getting copies of Last of Us 2 and that Mario collection for Christmas, but other than that feel free to go crazy.

Outside of that, i'm a huge Arsenal fan (unfortunately), and have recently just got into Formula One and became a big fan of that. I love a sports documentary and learning more about the history of sports or interesting stories, but i'm also not really a reader. I pre-ordered Arsene Wengers book and have just left it sitting on my shelf since it arrived since I just can't be bothered to actually read it! My music taste is pretty varied, but tends to be primarily metal that I listen to. My favourite bands are Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die & Metallica. I don't do any physical media for music though and it's all through Spotify so i'm unsure what you could do with that information! I did start to learn Spanish during lockdown using Duolingo, but I have fallen out of love with that now i'm working again.

I love a dark spiced rum and trying new ones so that could be a good shout. For things like chocolates, I tend to like plain chocolate like Galaxy, but my favourite overall are the white Lindor balls. Favourite sweet are the jelly cherries you can get.

Other than that, i'm not sure what else there is to say. If I think of anything else i'll add it to this post at some point!

I'm unsure what's left on this since it removes what's been bought, but I was also tasked with making an Amazon wishlist for Christmas which is here if you get really stuck:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls ... _=wl_share

If we're Steam friends you can look at my wishlist on there too, but I don't know how to link to that.

I've found an old list of the board games I own that I used to keep updated here which might give you a little bit of help if you're going down that route - https://boardgamegeek.com/collection/us ... dgame&ff=1

I haven't been poked, but if your Santa and mine want to go halvsies on Hassem Aouar or Dominik Szoboszlai that would be absolutely grand from my point of view.

Thanks to my SS, as my gifts turned up today. Credit to you for repurposing an Amazon box and making it look exactly like the box I returned to Amazon last week with a faulty iPad in it - I spent a couple of WTF? minutes looking at the box and wondering why they'd sent my faulty iPad back to me before actually looking at the label, seeing it was handwritten and with the words GRCADE on there, and realising the error of my ways. It's been a long day.... :)

Box has been opened and the still wrapped presents/card are now, naturally, in a dustbin. :) :)

I just hauled out a butt load of material from a cranny that's going to become something this week, but I'm just realising I should probably "populate" the thing too, which means doing some shopping around. Hmmm, might get pricey, but I pay my price in pain :datass:

(Ie I suffer for my art)

Ah gooseberry fool, I have a prize draw still to do for some GR merch so I might have to send all of those out too as a surprise Xmas present for random forumites. I'm running out of room :shifty:

Think something from my Secret Santa might have arrived today. Need to check with the wife in case it's something she ordered but there are two parcels here that I don't think I was expecting
