It's my birthday soon and I'm really fighting the urge to grab one of these as a present to myself, I just know it's not going to get that much use in the same way my SNES Classic never really did... but I still want it!

Ah, it's mine this month. If she asks I'll tell her it's my present.

SHe doesn't mind me buying stuff, tbh. As long as it doesn't affect the bills or anything.

In the end my brother got me one as a best man present and handed it to me as I ran out the door to catch a train to London. I’ve put it in my bag so might get a few games in over the weekend.

It’s very well packaged - looks brilliant! I’m really excited to play it.

I cancelled my pre-order and have worked so hard to avoid re-pre-ordering it. I love the Mega Drive and this looks dang fine, though.

In reality I should never have bothered with the SNES Classic and saved the money for this. I have no nostalgia for the SNES having never owned one in the past so beyond a few games on there most of it didn't really appeal to me.

The Mega Drive however was a big part of my childhood so the feels would have been strong with this one!

I had something from Amazon that was 1 stop away for about 2 hours on Saturday.

Genuinely got concerned that the driver had died or something!

It was meant to be 7, usually, for me, they're really good. when they are around 3 stops away they tend to be here really quick.

I've put £70 aside in a secret squirrel account that the wife doesn't know about, if I haven't needed to draw from it this month then I'll be getting one. CUE SKINFLINT MONTH :slol:
