I'm not sure if I'm going to do this yet, but I'm leaning towards yes at the moment. Anyway, just had a few questions before I made a decision.

If I deleted my profiles etc. off the console, and decided to buy a 360 again in the future, would all my XBLA games/poinnts etc. be intact, and, if so, is there any type of expiration date? Also, would there be any personal information left on the system that I would have to delete?

It's about 15 months old, so still has accidental damage cover for 9 months or so, and is still under warranty. Would I get significantly more for it online? I'd much rather sell it instore (hassle of selling it, excessive p&p etc.) Would it be better to wait until closer before Christmas to sell it?

I'm sure that I'm forgetting something too, so I'll update this when I remember it.

Thanks for any help.

Edit 1- It's a 60gb premium, if that makes any difference.

Your Gamertag information/Achievements are stored on a server so all are recoverable in the future. Microsoft do hold the right to delete inactive accounts, but I've not known them to do so yet. You should be safe. Also some game saves (Halo3 that I know of) are connected to your account in the same way achievements are, although the majority of your saves will be lost. Paid downloads are also tied to your account, which you have the right to download again if you wish.

As for selling it online, I probably wouldn't bother now unless you sold it on somewhere like here. eBay fees are so big now, it eats into any profit you might make over taking it into a store.

You could try http://www.cex.co.uk

And as a footnote to the previous post, having warentee left over won't really add anything, but it will make it more lucrative to buy!
