Bluepoint? Yup. But that was a remaster, this is a remake. Meaning it'll have all new assets, textures, etc, etc. Hopefully improved controls and camera, too.

The controls and camera are what need the most work, otherwise the PS3 remaster is perfectly fine. The textures and aesthetics are part of the charm, giving the world a sense of washed-out emptiness and barren lifeless beauty.

Sort out the controls and camera and it looks good, sold!

This. Wanted to play it, wanted to love it. Managed neither.

Bonza. Started going through this on a PS2 emulator but will deffo be picking this up now.

A friend loved the original release and so I was hyped when the PS3 remaster was released. Unfortunately I lasted all of 10 minutes on it due to the camera and controls, so I am *hugely* hyped for this. As is the friend.

Only played this on an emulator so am looking forward to experiencing an HD remake. Bit of a wait though :/

This was basically me but played for a good few hours before the controls, camera and performance annoyed me to much.

I don't remember any problems with the camera or controls

This is interesting, certainly looks good but I wonder if it will lose anything from the original with the visual changes

Having tried to play to original recently, they're not great. Still, they're no worse than the control/camera of The Last Guardian.

I wasn't completely enamoured by this game originally. I mean, it's good, but the reverence it's held in is kind of bizarre to me.

Probably the best part of it was the soundtrack, which was and still is incredible.

It's up for pre-order at Amazon... for £69.99. I guess that's a "placeholder" price, but it doesn't seem that it'll be a cheaper title, which I'd kinda assumed it would be.

Even just watching someone play it back in the day it was obvious to me the controls, camera and performance were a big issue.

I've got it for the PS3 but not played it. But... if I can play through The Last Guardian and totally love that, despite the sometimes janky controls, maybe I'd be okay with Colossus?

Nah. Probably make the console explode and destroy your flat. Best keep it in your mighty collection of games you have not played but own.
