It's happened again. Got to the playrooms and now I'm hopelessly lost and running around in circles. Feel like I had the poigne by this point when I played before so I might need to go right back to the start and meticulously check every path again.

Why are you using a play through?? :dread:

Shadowman is maze like but I find it far more rewarding finding the area your self. An excellent Metroid-a-like.

Sound in my surround sound earphones kinda freaks me out at points can’t lie! :dread:

I watched earlier, I’ve played it and as the vid says it is fixed 4K on Series X and PS5, it’s even good on last gen, switch is ok if you switch some things off but even that’s gonna be patched. All in all a great pot by Nightdive once again.

Managed to reach Shadow level 6 after running around in circles for hours. Last soul that tipped me into 6th was one of the ones beside the steps into the Temple of Fire. I'd dismissed it thinking it was out of reach but then after hours of getting nowhere, I tried jumping and was able to reach it :fp: So that's two more doors I can now open to progress. Feels like I've got a game plan for tomorrow and a clear goal. Determined to do this.

I can finally walk on fire! :msgreen:

And now I have the full L'Eclipser and I can bang the drums. Excellent progress! :msgreen:

Three of The Five are now dead dead and I'm at level 8. Hoping I'm close to finding the ability to swim in lava and then I'll be well away.

Just about to kill the last of The Five. Definitely not going to bother going for 100% as there's no way finding the odd missing soul or cadeaux is going to be in any way fun.

The game sorely needed a Metroidvania style map and it's a shame they didn't incorporate one into the remaster. I'd happily go back and collect everything if I could clearly see where all the previously inaccessible areas were located.

And I still don't think I could have completed this without Google. Due to poor design, there have been multiple occasions where I completely missed ledges or destructible scenery that were required to make large amounts of progress.

A map would've alleviated all of my issues and would've probably saved me several hours of backtracking as well!

I'm hoping I'm at the end now as the backtracking lull midway through the game has definitely dampened my enjoyment of it.

As a kid, I loved reading about this game in N64 magazine, but when I finally got hold of a second hand copy, I was too scared to play it!

Definitely going to give it another go with this remaster once there is a sale.

Still absolutely love this; it drips with atmosphere. Just made it to the Asylum and opened a couple of coffin gates. Already been quite lost as playing without the map - I must print it out - or guide. C’mon slowcoach……..

Played this non stop when it launched but fell off it in past week or so, I'll go back to it as I do with all games I love.

Lost AF though but that's half the fun (for me at least).

I was playing this. Found the
retractor
and been round the
cathedral
but then got a bit lost and had to cheat. Turned out I’d missed a little ledge to the
temple of life
. Now I can’t beat the new boss - I hate bosses! Must go back to it soon as on the whole I’m really enjoying it.

I've been feeling like I want to replay this and go for the platinum. Not even close to a perfect game but there's just something about it.

Every time I’ve tried to play this game I get completely lost when you have to track down the sword that lets you use your powers in the real world.
