I've never touched this or know anything about it. I'm on NG+++++++ on Elden Ring though. Is this a good challenge?

It's an amazing challenge. :msgreen:

Combat is focused on parrying to open up enemies for a killing blow. Parrying is fundamentally easier than in other FromSoft games but that doesn't mean the bosses aren't hard as gooseberry fool. There's also a lot of satisfying stealth so you can one shot a lot of enemies easily once you learn where they spawn.

It's one of my absolute favourite From games and I find myself wanting to replay it more than the others. The challenge is so exhilarating!

Had a few days that I could fit this in unexpectedly. Got stuck at the huge ape for so long that I figured I'd had enough of the game. Had enjoyed what I'd played of it and was happy to call it a day.

Gave it one final go before I turned the xbox off and managed to do it.

A winter of pain awaits :toot:

Hardest game I've ever played, and not enjoyable hard.

I found it to be the most enjoyable kind of hard. Whenever I couldn't beat something, I was always determined to come back and progress. And even years later, the itch to keep coming back to it has never gone because of how good it makes me feel when it just clicks. Whereas I feel pretty satisfied that I've played enough of other titles like Bloodborne.

I dip in every now and then because it looks gorgeous, I'll give Lies of P a proper go before I try this again.

Beat the double ape on my first try which I'm cheesing with, real sense of progression of skills in this game.

If you find Seriko not enjoyable hard, then Lies of P isn't for you. It's a lot more frustrating hard due to awkward angles and enemies taking cheap shots

Gotten through the two snake eyes and other fat dude now, and on to the ghostly sort of woman.

I hate the schichemen warrior fights, glad they're optional because I have no intention of beating them. Same with the first of the headless I came across, guy strawberry floating smoked me and cba with that.

Still loving this.

Beat owl, the proper monk, and one of those warriors.

This game is strawberry floating impossible and probably one of the greatest games I've ever played.
