Do you remember that day, when the snow turned to rain?

I can't believe it...

The original is still within my top 5 and I hope for more of the same. The second is still great but not as memorable or as familiar, often overwhelming in its scale. Half the time I found myself getting lead to locations.

I would of loved a square off in the trailer with Lan Di that would of jacked me up!

I've tried playing the original, and while I can certainly appreciate that it is a wonderfully crafted, living world, the controls are janky as all hell and I couldn't get into it.

Will definitely be replaying the first two at some point before the release of shenmue 3. I would say that shenmue 3 isn't the final chapter, especially if the kickstarter campaign goes into tens of million.

I still cannot believe it and us gamers now have a few games we can truly look forward to.

Sony listened and got us what we wanted - yakuza 5, the last guardian, shenmue 3 and ff7. I love the fact that they listen to what we want and don't try and shove stuff down our throats. Next year will also see tomb raider on ps4 - sony are set to have an amazing 2016 and beyond. Thank you sony, for keeping gamers hearts at mind.

I think now would be a perfect time to replay both games for myself. Although both a truely memorable experience I feel playing them now after a decade apart would provide me with a fresh experience. Can we play the second via xbox 360 with an original xbox disc?

Oh my god!

OH MY GOD!

I didn't think it would ever happen. I'm still not sure how the heck they're going to do this through Kickstarter. Must be one of those 'show us there's interest and we'll fund it' things surely?

I need to properly read the KS page but I've backed for $29 already. I'm sure most of Europe won't have even seen this news yet, so I expect the fund to keep rising quickly most of the morning.

OH MY GOD!!

Terrible news especially when a remake of Final Fantasy VII has also been announced. Other than Half Life 3, what games do we have left to start troll "it's coming!" topics on?

There's still Metroid Dread and a new F-Zero.

Here's hoping it plays nothing like Shenmue or Shenmue II

Very exciting news. I completed the original Shenmue when it first came out and loved it.

I struggled a bit more with Shenmue II, but I had lots of other stuff going on at the time.

I've never helped fund anything in Kickstarter, but I'll contribute here.

I really wish they had a special edition PS4 physical copy though...

Can't decide whether to back $250 or $300.

All the $10,000 ones are already gone though
