Concerning for sure, but as a fan i just hope it bloody sells so that we get a few more sequels and the ending.

Finally managed to find my shipping confirmation survey from Fangamer, as I backed the physical edition back in the day and have totally forgotten about it since then, but the menu doesn't actually load to let me select which format I want Nice.

Have emailed them to say "haha hi your website's broken", so hopefully they respond and I can at least actually get the copy I've paid for

Crazy that on the original pledge it says it'll be shipping "Dec 2017". They missed that by a fair margin...

I'll buy it on day one, but I'm not sure if I want to play it on the day or save until Christmas Day.

I'll see what I'll decide on Tuesday.

Despite being a huge Shenmue fan, my expectations have always been quite low for this. For so many people, Shenmue seemed to be about the living towns and cities, but from where Part 2 left off, it never seemed like Shenmue 3 would heavily feature this. Then of course you go from the first two being the most expensively developed games of all time when released, to part 3 being a very low budget game.

Looks like my copy will be delivered today, but I want to hold off playing it for now. Recently moved house, playing on a 10 year old 32 inch LCD, but hoping to pick up a 65 inch OLED during BF. I'm sort of putting off a lot of games until that upgrade happens!

With nice timing it seems I'm almost at the end of 2.

Currently working my way up the Yellow Head Building in Kowloon to find/rescue Yuanda Zhu. Apparently there's not too much to go after this from what I've been told.

No spoilers for me, but took a sneak peek. Looks pretty good to me. I really must get on with playing shenmue 2 now and aim to play this around christmas. I should have the special edition in the post tomorrow. Did anyone else preorder the special edition with the light box and mirrors?

I've not got anything regarding my backer order of the PC version. I should get a physical one, so guess the PC ones just got sent out a bit later since the code in the box won't work before release anyway.

I also ordered the pix n love special edition (only 2,500 produced), which hasn’t been shipped yet. A little anti climatic and i guess i would have been a lot more excited when i was 18 years old. I cannot believe that i had just started university when i played and completed shenmue 2 on the dreamcast. Its staggering that some players would not have been born when shenmue 2 was released. I hope it sells well even if it is average as i would love to finish the series off before my gaming days are over.

Girlfriend received copy today via 48hr tracked RM service, surprisingly enough. But of course it's a 20gb install and a day MINUS-ONE patch to V1.02, so perhaps that explains something about the review embargo.

But yeah, totally expecting this to be grilled by critics but only expecting it to be a nice wander through a well-realised environment and some toy-like/fighting distractions, that's about it. It's one of the original walking simulators, so getting too excited about it is a bit misguided. Maybe the combat will be OK.

I like it, it has that retro feel as it sounds just like the first two games.

Still, will hopefully pick it up from Argos tomorrow.

Might just be that you've missed the email because they apparently sent the surveys out mid... October(?). Have a look in your email for something from "fangamer mailroom" and you might find the link (although you probably won't be able to fill the survey out like me - I had to email them in the end )

I did get the mail and confirm my address, so shouldn't be an issue there.
