I also read that there's a

Green Arrow island flash back episode. It won't be as good as GA:Year One but I'm looking forward to it. And the Legion episode.

I think episode 3 is pretty Green Arrow heavy.

I think that having the old show runners NOT on board this season may actually allow the show to do something fresh.

I have heard that they are going to stay faithful to Doomsdays 'look' God knows how but there we go.

Also the season has a break halfway through. The rumour is that the show may be cancelled this season. If that's the case the break will allow the writers to change the back half of the season accordingly.

A billion pounds says Davis Blooms's Doomsday persona is caused by a kryptonite mutation.

:o

I'm hopeful, but I just can't see how they can possibly pull it off.

Also, which look are they going for? Looking on Google Images, there seem to quite a few different looks. :?

"I can tell you with confidence, the season they have planned is easily the most ambitious to date," he said in a forum posting. "There are so many twists and turns. And episode 10. Episode 10 is INSANE. My episode is now 11, so it's going to be a hard act to follow, but I'll give it my all. I have to say too, that if they pull off where they're taking Doomsday...I mean, I didn't understand where they were going when they announced that Doomsday had a human alter ego. But it's freaking cool. As hell. And fans of the comics are going to be blown away when everything is actually revealed. It's really pretty spectacular."

and
As for Davis' Doomsday mode, he'll look like you'd expect. But the producers are following the philosophy that Jaws was a better movie because you didn't see the shark that much. In the same way, you won't be seeing that much of Doomsday. But when you do, it'll rule.

Loads of spikes I presume. I've said it before but only Bruce Wayne can save Smallville now.

Episode 10 synopsis
It is Chloe and Jimmy's wedding but things don't go as planned and it turns out to be a bloody mess. Lana returns from her break and it puts Clark and Lois in awkward places about their feelings.

The spikes or Bruce Wayne?

I think we can rule out BW ever making an appearance in Smallville.

I know but that would be great. It would make sense as well.

There was a young Bruce Wayne series in development back when the network was The WB. I read snippets about the proposed pilot. But it was killed when Begins was greenlit.

And the creators did Smallville instead.

Nope. It was the guy who wrote Iron Giant.

From wikipedia
Originally, Tollin/Robbins Productions wanted to do a show about a young Bruce Wayne.

They are/were exec producers on Smallville.

Creators usually means a show runner. Which was Gough and Millar. But if you want to be literal then it was Tim McCanlies who came up with the concept of the Young Bruce Wayne show and who still gets royalties from Smallville. Tollan and Robbins merely brought the rights to the Wayne series and as a result pitched the series to Warners. All of the legwork was done by McCanlies.

And they went to produce Smallville. It's all the same.

Well you said creators. *shrugs*

They didn't come up with the concept. Someone else did. :P
